For 20 years I’ve worked as a climate leadership and behavior change expert. I worked as an environmental scientist in the Canadian High Arctic Circle before founding three environmental non-profit organizations that were active in 15 countries on three continents. I spoke about my arctic work in my 2014 TEDx talk, and currently serves as the Worldwide Environment Lead for Apple’s Values Business Development team, as well as Worldwide Government Lead for Apple’s B2B Training and Programs team. Ali was trained by Al Gore as a Climate Leader in 2018, and in 2020 she helped train 10,000 new Climate Leaders globally. As a courageous leader, she models and coaches growth mindset and learning from failure. She believes teams can build courage like a muscle that strengthens over time, by fostering a culture where it’s safe to make mistakes, and failures are studied and even celebrated for what they teach us about how to do things better, faster, and with increasing innovation.
